BIOGRAPHY:			PHYSICAL ROCKET 1999:
	Physical Rocket started out with all four members meeting at a party in September 1997. All members had engagements in other bands at the time but they were no strangers to eachother. Six months earlier Jonas Asplund and Peter Karbelius had a gig in Stockholm with their band “Message to love” that the drummer could not attend, what to do? Cancel was no option! They got in contact with Svante Lindquist who played drums with another local coverband in Åkersberga called “Snakeskin Cowboys”, whose leadsinger was Eva Rönnqvist,  and he came to the rescue. This brief collaboration came to be the beginning of something new. During the party the future members of Physical Rocket got to talk and ended up sitting in a corner playing guitars and singing. A week later they got together jamming just for fun and after a magic hour in the rehearsal studio they knew that what only had been emotions at the party now really had come in place. The band was formed and a reportoaire of favorite songs ranging from Led zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Black Sabbath, Motörhead and others was made. With a bunch of songs and a name the four members was now ready to perform in front of a crowd. Several gigs was made playing covers but after a while original songs started to appear, it was time to record. The band went into “studioovett”, a studio owned and runned by Ove Noring who’s a friend of the band, in March 1999 and the CD “Physical Rocket” consisting of six self-penned songs was released in December. More live performances was made and the repertoaire came to include more and more of own material as the members all contributed with ideas. In November 2000 the time had come to do another recording and the band returned to the studio where they made their first recordings.
